Remove the top off the washer and examine the pressure hose for kinks, clogs or tears. the hose is attached to the pressure switch and the washer tub. (see video below to get an idea of what you are looking for). Thank you for your question and i understand your concern. if there is a problem detected with the washer, it should stop and display a fault code in the display window.. Is your maytag washer displaying error code f8 e1 or lo fl? use this page to troubleshoot the error..
